2015 has been one for the books. It's hard to look back and recall all of the things that have gone on in one year.  I think the highlight would have to be having the opportunity to release my first, organized collection of music. Although I wouldn't regret a thing, I certainly learned so much in the process. I learned a lot about what goes into every detail, how to keep one foot in front of the other, but also what I can do differently next time around.

Honestly, It was such a joy for me to release Atlantic but I was surprised at the amount of sadness that came with it, too. You know, I had created that music in collaboration with those that profoundly impacted my artistry, and in many other ways, my entire life. When I had to go it alone, I think I was able to bury myself in the tangible workings of it all to deal with some of the loss I felt. I relied on my support system, old and new alike, to get from one step to another,  and in hindsight it has awarded me a completed project that I am so proud of. On the other hand, it was truly time for me to allow myself to take a step back and really think over everything that has taken place. It took a lot of reflecting...

Looking back on "Atlantic"

It's crazy to think that six months ago to the day, I released my first EP "Atlantic" and had the release show at The Saint in Asbury Park. Time flies.

Working on Atlantic was an incredible journey for me, one that wasn't always easy. I am so happy that I was able to achieve that goal of mine. To go ahead and get those four tracks together and arranged with my friends in spite of a lot of changes that were taking place in my life throughout its completion.

I learned so much about dedication, and in Asbury's absence, I have learned that nobody is going to take my music more seriously, and more to heart, than me myself. It brings out another level of focus to know what can be accomplished if you believe that something you have to say is worth being said and shared with others, but I now realize what it truly takes to make it all come together.

I look forward to sharing some of the new things I've been working on, but as of today, I am offering the Atlantic EP in its entirety for FREE on my band camp site. It's more important to me that my music hits the ears of others than anything else, so go ahead and click the link "Atlantic Download" to grab a copy. Thanks again.
