It's been a little over a week since the release of "Runaway" and I can't thank you enough for your support of my music, We really had an amazing night at The Saint on March 23rd. I want to take a moment to acknowledge the guys who played alongside me for doing such a kickass job on short notice. I have a tendency to get things done last minute and these few can hang. Ro, Erik, Santo, Alex.... thank you guys. Couldn't have been what it was without your skills and great energy. Also special hugs for my two lady friends, Tara Dente and Pam Flores, who contributed their time and talents to make the evening a success. Having other strong and silly women in your life who can relate to the process is an unspeakable gift. Blessed by their friendship in my life!

Asbury Park! You're such a fun community. I love how the musicians in this town are all so active but find the time to come out and support the local scene. There's something so special about being near the ocean whilst still having this strong community energy here in town. There's nothing that beats the subtle acknowledgment and sigh from a fellow resident on a busy, summer day. We complain about the crowds, but we also know we always have the undercurrent that is alive and well to enjoy.

I am working on some new material and have a few new shows lined up on the books. I can't wait to share them with you and continue to do what I love. Thank you to Charlotte Nagy of Life of Yar for capturing the evening and sharing the photos below. May we all do what we love while we can. Life is too short to be anything but brave!

A message of thanks should always be given both ways. The musician should be thanked for the music. The musician should also be thanking his audience not just for listening or watching the show but by simply being there. They don't even have to like his music. Their existence alone is enough encouragement for the artist to continue doing what he does. He gets his inspiration from ordinary people and what goes on with their lives everyday. Sometimes it's a challenge for them to get people to like them. It makes them try harder.
